KAROLÍNA ŠNAJDROVÁ
Dancer, performer, photographer and instructor.
She graduated from the Duncan Centre Dance Conservatory in Prague. Shortly after her studies, she premiered her choreography Bestiae Ferrae at the Ponec Theatre (Future Promises - Young Czech Blood) and at the Siraex festival.
She collaborated with choreographer Johana Pocková (Full Warehouses of Feelings, 2018), with Michal Záhora within site-specific performance, and also worked in production with the Pulsar association.
Within movement collaboration, she was part of the choreography of the Russian musical Mir na ladoni (World in the Palm).
She collaborated interpretively and choreographically, for example, on the music video of the band MoveBreakers, or on choreography for the dance music festival Sensation White.
She was an external dancer for the National Theatre (operas The Excursions of Mr. Brouček and Lolita).
Over the years, she has been dedicated to teaching dance and movement. She develops herself within the movement education project Fighting Monkey, personal development and holistic medicine.
As a photographer, she explores the moment of presence in portrait photography and capturing the unique moment of individual human stories.
